Grid Lounge

Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve pulled together answers to the questions we hear most often to make your visit as smooth as possible. Whether you’re wondering how our racing sessions work, what memberships include, or what to expect when you arrive, you’ll find quick, straightforward info here. If you don’t see your question covered, our Pit Crew is always ready to help.

1. What is Grid Lounge?

Grid Lounge is a sim racing venue where you can experience the thrill of competitive motorsports without leaving town. We combine professional-grade racing simulators with a social lounge atmosphere, cold drinks, and a community of people who love racing and cars.

2. How much does it cost to race?

Standard racing sessions are $35 per hour. We also offer memberships for those who want to race more often, plus specials and events throughout the month.

3. Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Nope. All simulators are fully set up with racing seats, wheels, pedals, and screens. Just show up ready to race. If you have your own gloves or shoes you like to use, you’re welcome to bring them.

4. Can anyone race at Grid Lounge?

Yes! Drivers of all skill levels are welcome. First-timers will get a quick intro to the rigs, while more experienced drivers can jump right into the action.

5. Is there an age requirement?

Drivers must be tall enough to safely reach the pedals and handle the wheel — generally around 10 years old and up. Younger guests can still hang out in the lounge area.

6. What are your memberships?

We currently offer two tiers:

  • Club Pass: $49/month, includes hours each month plus perks.

  • Grid Unlimited: $99/month, unlimited racing plus optional add-ons like 24/7 access.

Members also receive discounts on championships and events.

7. Do I need a membership to race?

Not at all. You can book single sessions any time, but memberships are a great value if you plan to race regularly.

8. Can I host a private event at Grid Lounge?

Absolutely. We host private events for birthdays, bachelor parties, corporate groups, and more. Private events always include all 6 simulators and can be customized with add-ons like trophies, after-hours rentals, or custom branding.

9. Do you serve food or drinks?

We offer a selection of canned beer, seltzers, and non-alcoholic drinks. While we don’t serve food directly, we encourage taking a look at catering in from local spots for your private events.

10. What games do you run on the simulators?

Day-to-day, we run Assetto Corsa for its wide range of cars and tracks. We also have iRacing available for special events and members.

11. How do championships and leagues work?

We run seasonal league nights, usually lasting 6–8 weeks. Drivers compete weekly, and standings are tracked to crown a season champion. Some leagues include multiple skill classes, so everyone has a fair shot at competing.

12. How do I book a session?

The easiest way is to book online at racehq.gridlounge.co/book. Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking ahead since rigs fill up fast, especially on weekends and event nights.
